Hellen is a recognised African leader in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE), currently serving as the Group CEO of SMTS. Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to advancing safety standards, compliance, and professional development across the continent.

She is the President of the Africa Safety Congress and Awards (AfriSAFE), the Founder of the Zambia Safety Awards for Excellence (ZASAA), and the face of IOSH Africa, where she continues to champion stronger safety cultures and professional standards across industries.

Under her leadership, SMTS was recognised as the 2025 SADC Service Provider of the Year, reinforcing the organisation’s growing impact in safety training, consultancy, and workforce development across the region.

Through her work, Hellen continues to drive meaningful conversations around workplace safety, leadership, and the empowerment of more women within the HSSE profession across Africa.

Nosizwe Mubanga Mundangepfupfu is a seasoned sales and business development professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades across sales, administration, project management, and client relations within both corporate and public sector environments. She currently serves as a Sales Executive at SMTS South Africa, where she plays a key role in driving business growth, building strategic client relationships, and expanding the organization’s footprint in the occupational health, safety, and corporate training space.

Throughout her career, Nosizwe has developed a strong track record in lead generation, client acquisition, and consultative selling, with a focus on understanding organizational needs and delivering tailored solutions that address skills gaps and operational challenges. Her background includes managing sales departments, coordinating corporate events and training workshops, and engaging directly with senior decision-makers to support workforce development initiatives.

She brings a well-rounded professional foundation shaped by years of experience in administration, project coordination, and client service roles across Zimbabwe and South Africa. This diverse background has strengthened her ability to communicate effectively, manage stakeholder relationships, and contribute meaningfully to business growth strategies in competitive markets.
